About the Role:
A Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment by performing various cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom cleaning. They may also be responsible for replenishing supplies and ensuring the proper operation of cleaning equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Tasks:
Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning. of grounds before and after guests.
Restroom Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
Supply Management:
Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure they are organized and readily available.
Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, floor polishers, and carpet cleaners.
Maintenance Reporting:
Identify and report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Teamwork and Communication:
Cooperate with other staff members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
Specialized Tasks:
May perform additional tasks such as window cleaning, carpet cleaning, or floor waxing
Requirements:
Must be flexible with schedule
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Take pride in cleaning and provide good customer service
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be a self-starter
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and address areas needing cleaning or maintenance.
Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Dependability: Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Cleaning Knowledge: Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
Safety Awareness: Awareness of health and safety regulations and procedures.
