We specialize in creating custom, memorable events on our homestead oasis that blends rustic charm with modern amenities. A: Sassafras Farms is a black-owned family farm that offers a resort-like experience. Located near the city yet providing the tranquility of a remote wildlife haven, we offer a variety of seasonal produce and freshly harvested fruits and vegetables. Our farm features comfortable lodging with amenities such as a pool, waterfall, fireplace, and sauna. Our event space is perfect for weddings, corporate retreats, and family gatherings. Guests can enjoy recreational fishing at our ponds and interact with our farm animals, including goats, chickens, turkeys, guinea fowl, geese, ducks, and fish. Fresh eggs are available for purchase when in stock. Our Farmacy offers a selection of farm-fresh goods. We also host private events like birthday parties, Paint & Sip, and massage therapy. Sassafras Farms is a homestead oasis where you can relax, indulge, and create lasting memories.

Rental for the event space is $3000 per night. There is a separate fee for the guesthouse and only persons staying for an overnight stay are allowed to use the pool or hot tub areas without written consent. There is a customary fee for parties. The guesthouse can accommodate 18 with 2 per bed or 9 with 1 per bed. The rental include access to the fishing pond, swimming pools and grounds minus the private property. At no time should the renters invite guests to the property for parties unless given full written approval by the owners. Violation of this policy could result in immediate removal from premises. While we make every attempt to avoid such action, we must ensure our family is safe. We appreciate your support.
